Condition Notes: Coins show varying degrees of circulation wear with the 1879 and 1882 examples showing the heaviest wear. The 1883 example has been altered with blue paint on the reverse in a starburst pattern. Several coins exhibit natural toning ranging from light silver to dark brown patination.
