Marked "MADE-IN-ITALY" on the underside interior. The patinated brass displays an aged green-brown patina with areas of exposed golden brass, particularly visible along the body segments, leg joints, and wing details.

The hinged wings can be opened to reveal an ash cavity with mounting holes visible in the interior. All six legs and articulated body parts remain intact. The piece exhibits fine casting detail throughout, including textured surface patterning on the wings and anatomical insect features.
