Description

Silver 90% Morgan Dollar, Philadelphia Mint, dated 1898. This antique U.S. coin features the classic Liberty head design by George T. Morgan on the obverse and an American eagle with spread wings on the reverse. Housed in a clear plastic display holder with gold trim and "SILVER DOLLAR" text. Exhibits excellent detail retention and luster with minimal circulation wear, suggesting an About Uncirculated condition.

The coin shows the iconic portrait of Liberty facing left, surrounded by stars and the date 1898 prominently visible at the bottom. The reverse displays the American eagle holding arrows and an olive branch, encircled by a wreath. No mint mark is present, indicating production at the Philadelphia Mint. The surfaces show natural silver color with slight toning consistent with proper storage.

Condition Notes: Minimal wear on the high points of Liberty's hair and cheek. Strong strike with well-defined feather detail on the eagle.
