Sale Name: 14th Annual Montana Spring Auction
LOT 166 - 1921 Morgan Silver Dollar Pair
Description

Silver 90% Morgan dollars, both dated 1921, minted in the final year of the original Morgan dollar series. These iconic American coins feature Lady Liberty on the obverse and an eagle on the reverse, with both specimens displaying similar preservation quality.

These 1921 Morgan dollars represent the revival of the design after an 18-year hiatus (1904-1921). The portrait of Liberty faces left on the obverse, surrounded by stars, with the date below. The reverse features an eagle with outstretched wings, clutching arrows and an olive branch within a laurel wreath.

Condition Notes: Both examples show moderate circulation wear with some loss of detail in Liberty's hair strands and the eagle's breast feathers. The coin on the left exhibits slightly better luster than the one on the right. Both coins are housed in plastic protective holders with display stands. Refer to the pictures and in person inspection for condition.
