LOT 64C - Fisher's Flours and Cereals Handy Sacks Store Display Rack
Description

Metal wire store display rack with Fisher's advertising header, featuring tiered shelving for flour and cereal products, circa 1930s-1940s.

Metal construction with welded wire shelving organized in four graduated tiers. Original green painted metal header board with red Fisher's logo and white "HANDYSACKS" text. Product types listed along bottom edge include "BLEND FLOUR WHOLE WHEAT," "CAKE FLOUR RYE FLOUR," "PAN CAKE GRAHAM," "FARINA CRACKED WHEAT," and "YELLOW & WHITE CORNMEAL." Wire frame shows expected surface rust and patina consistent with age and commercial use.

The display features functional design characteristic of early to mid-century American grocery store fixtures. Each shelf is designed with a slight slope to present products at optimal viewing angle for customers. The construction employs simple wire framework with reinforced joints at stress points.

Condition Notes: Original green paint on header shows substantial wear and oxidation. Surface rust present throughout metal frame. Some bending evident in wire sections. No major structural damage, though display shows expected wear from commercial use. Refer to the pictures and in person inspection for condition.
