Circa 1950s “Toy Town Express Van Lines” pressed tin and molded plastic toy truck, marked “DELUXE SERVICE” and manufactured by Marx Toys. The cab is molded in bright red plastic, while the lithographed tin trailer features vivid mid-century advertising, including the “Yes Sir!” character and “Plamor 9981” callout.
The rear door is open-style, and the toy features red litho wheels with steel axles. The license plate on the rear reads “1953,” consistent with production from that era. A classic example of post-war American toy manufacturing.
Condition notes: Rust and litho loss present on roof and trailer sides. Plastic cab shows wear and light scuffing. One axle appears slightly bent but intact. Refer to the pictures for condition.
