Solid oak construction with cast iron frame and mounts. This mid-century (circa 1940s-1950s) commercial paper dispenser features original wrought iron hardware with decorative hammered texture. The robust cast iron supports are secured to the wooden base with visible mounting hardware. Unit includes a partial roll of vintage Christmas decorative paper with candle and pine bough motif.
The pine wood base and top rail show patina consistent with age and use. The cutting mechanism features a metal bar designed to tear paper cleanly. Cast iron components display aged black finish with some wear exposing the underlying metal. Original wooden dowel roller mechanism remains intact and functional.
