LOT 31 - Yellowstone National Park Bourbon Whiskey Decanter 1872-1972 Limited Edition
Description

Ceramic commemorative bourbon decanter produced by Yellowstone Distillery Co. (Louisville-Owensboro, Kentucky) to mark the 100th Anniversary of Yellowstone National Park in 1972. This vintage collectible features a rectangular cream-colored ceramic bottle with hand-applied glazed decoration depicting Old Faithful geyser in blue, green, and brown tones with "YELLOWSTONE" in gold lettering and "Old Faithful 1872-1972" below the image.

The rear label identifies this as Yellowstone Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey, 90 proof, 4/5 quart size, aged ninety months. The bottle retains its original ceramic stopper with intact federal tax stamp. According to the rear label text, this special bottling was produced in limited quantity to honor both the National Park System centennial and the 100th anniversary of Yellowstone Straight Bourbon Whiskey, with the notation that no more of these decanters would be produced, making it a true collector's item.

Includes original numbered certificate card (No. 1372 L) with decorative border documenting "Yellowstone Park Yellowstone Bourbon 1872-1972" and commemorative text explaining the limited production nature of this release. The certificate notes this item was expected to increase in value over the years. Bottle appears unopened.
