The cabinet features 20 individual compartments arranged in four rows of five cubbies, designed to organize and display individual dye packets at point-of-sale.

The front panel showcases vibrant period graphics including the Putnam Fadeless Dyes-Tints trademark with red and blue lettering, illustrated vignette of a figure on horseback, and product usage instructions. Text indicates the dyes were suitable for "Wool, Silk, Cotton or Mixed Goods" and references Putnam No-Kolor Bleach. The cabinet bears "Trade Mark Reg. U.S. Pat. Off." marking, indicating registered trademark status.

Simple butt-jointed wood construction with thin divider walls creates the interior compartment system. The exterior features lithographed metal panels applied to front, sides, and top surfaces. The bags connect via leather straps and metal hardware designed to secure over a saddle. Construction includes hand-stitched seams with visible saddle-stitch detail, riveted stress points at strap attachments, and edge-turned leather finishing. Multiple adjustment straps allow for secure mounting to various saddle configurations.

The fuel tank connects via brass fittings and features screw-top cap for filling. Chrome-plated top surface bears stamped Coleman trademark with sunburst logo and "Trade Mark Reg. The pedicle attachment point at the base shows characteristic rounded shape indicating natural shedding process rather than harvesting. Palmated section exhibits typical moose antler morphology with broad, shovel-like flattening and finger-like projections along the outer edge. Main beam curves gracefully with bez and trez tines visible. Surface shows natural aging and weathering consistent with field-found shed antler.

The rear label identifies this as Yellowstone Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey, 90 proof, 4/5 quart size, aged ninety months. The bottle retains its original ceramic stopper with intact federal tax stamp. According to the rear label text, this special bottling was produced in limited quantity to honor both the National Park System centennial and the 100th anniversary of Yellowstone Straight Bourbon Whiskey, with the notation that no more of these decanters would be produced, making it a true collector's item.
