Herb Gabel's pride and joy — a sharp red 1974 Dodge 4x4 pickup, custom-built and cared for. This was Herb's own truck, and it shows in the details. Per the family, the truck is equipped with a custom-built 340 small block V8, featuring Mickey Thompson valve covers, an Edelbrock intake and carburetor, and Magnum-style performance components. The carburetor has been recently replaced. Per a close friend of Herb's who was doing his own truck build around the same time, the paint and bodywork were done to a high standard — a meaningful detail given Herb owned and operated Hank's Body Shop for years. The same friend noted the truck has always been stored indoors. Runs and drives, with video coming soon so bidders can see and hear it for themselves.
